Volunteers:

Volunteer applications are available at the Service Center (Front Desk)

Wellness Coaches-     Wellness Coaches will help to integrate new members into the YMCA culture by following a 60 day plan for each new member they are assigned.  Wellness coaches will be assigned 3-5 new members each week (depending on enrollment) and asked to make a welcome call; make sure they are signed up for and attend their wellness center orientation; invite them to a YMCA class, program or event; see if they would like to sign up for one of our incentive programs; and follow-up with them during the first 60 days of membership if they are not using it on a regular basis.  Wellness coaches do not need fitness experience and will not perform the wellness center orientation.  We are looking for friendly people who want to help us help every member get the most out of their membership.  All of this can be done from the YMCA or home.

Youth Room Monitor- Youth room monitors will assist youth ages 7-17 in utilizing the Youth Fitness Arcade (Game Bikes and Dance Dance Revolution), gaming area (ping pong, air hockey, foosball, etc.), and Magnum Body Motion Equipment.  Monitors will ensure that equipment is being used appropriately and kids are treating others with respect.  Youth Room Monitors are needed afternoons/evenings between 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9-12:00.

Greeters- Greeters are needed to assist at the Service Center to welcome members, make sure that they are scanned/checked in appropriately, and assist with maintaining an adequate number of towels in the fitness center.  They may also answer phones and questions during peak times.  Greeters are needed weekday mornings 9:00-11:00 and evenings 5:00-8:00 as well as Saturdays 9-12.

All volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt and nametag.  We will also log your volunteer hours for a volunteer recognition program.
